Due to changes made to California Legislation in October 2009, some children may qualify for the Prevention Program. All children referred to the Station are assessed for Early Start, and if found not eligible are then assessed for the Prevention Program. If a child is eligible for this program the services and supports are primarily intake, assessment, case management, and referral to generic agencies.
